2/25/12: 2 car MVA E-1, PC-1

E-1, PC-1 due

*After writing a few quick notes about the suspect in the fight, I pull away from the curb and head for the MVA which is only a few blocks away.*

"Dispatch, PC-1, please show me en-rout to the MVA and clear of the fight"

"Dispatch copies, advise of the situation upon arrival"

*I run down to the truck and get my gear on. I step up into the truck and grab the mic.*
"Engine 1 rollin'"
*I look over at Zach as we pull out.*
'Zach depending on what we have, either grab the hurst tool or the medical bag.'

*I arrive on scene, turn on the overheads, and position the cruiser to block the lanes I just arrived by.*
"Dispatch, PC-1 is on scene of the MVA, requesting additional FPD assistance to help with traffic control, stand by for further"
*I get out of the car and survey the scene, then walk over and make contact with several of the people standing around the wrecked cars*
"Dispatch, PC-1 with report"

"Dispatch, the MVA consists of 2 motor vehicles, a small 4 door sedan and a large SUV. The sedan was T-Boned by the SUV, and there are only light casualties in the SUV. The occupant in the sedan appears to severely injured, and is trapped. Please advise Engine 1. Be advised that the SUV crashed into the traffic signal and knocked it down"

*I go back to my car, pop the trunk, and put on my traffic vest. After closing the trunk and locking the car, I go start traffic control.*

"dispatch copies PC-1, FPD is enroute ETA IS 5-7 minutes out BREAK dispatch to E-1 do you copy PC-1s transmission?

((Remember we don't have the same frequency))

"Fire Car 1 to Command of Riverview, status?"

*i hear chatter on radio and backup traffic control*

"ETA 3 minutes from MVA"

"PC-4 on scene"

*i go to other side of the road put on lightbar and get out of my vehicle with traffic vest and flares I set flares and start directing traffic*

"Dispatch, PC-1, copy my taking OSC"

"Fire Car-1 to OSC Conlin, whats the current situation?"

"Fire Car 1, PC-1, occupants of the SUV are stable and being held for the accident report, but the driver of the sedan is trapped and is severely wounded. I cannot determine at this time extent of injuries, but she is fading rapidly"

"10-4 BREAK. E1 Location? BREAK Fire Car-1 to Operations we have EMS en route correct?"

"Negative, no one ever requested. BREAK Dispatch to OSC, how many ambulances do you need?"

*I get off my phone wit the Engine*
"Dispatch to all units, the engine is still 10 minutes out (1-2 days due to RL training). Do what you can with what you have until then"

(quick note, E-1 did actually request and ALS and a BLS medic, a long ways back after the initial report)
